Biography

Kenna James has been a touring professional poker player for the past 12 years. Having won 15 events and more then 3 million dollars in tournaments around the world, he is considered one of the top players on the World Poker Tour today.

He recently became a spokesperson and consultant for one of the top online poker companies on the Cake network, PokerHost.

Before becoming a professional poker player he worked in the casino industry both as a dealer and a tournament director.

He began hosting and directing tournaments in 1997 and helped to organize and run the first major poker tournament in Moscow, Russia.

He has also played and hosted tournaments in Australia, the Netherlands,Costa Rica, England and Monte Carlo to name a few. He also contributes and hosts tournaments for many charities including.

The Wounded Warrior Project, Home Inc. for mentally challenged adults, Athletes for Life, PVA and many others.

Before getting into the gambling industry Kenna studied and became an accomplished actor and musician. He still writes music and just recorded his latest single, "Dream this Dream." He is also a television commentator for the WPT Canadian tour and for Matchroom Sports in London, England. Born in Chicago, Ill. he is 45 years old and is a proud father of two boys and currently resides in Las Vegas, NV.
